[Yua was right about how the party in Slitherbough was going to go all night. It was almost to its embers when she had to get back from her fun night with Emet-Selch and she had to sneak in as to not disturb Minfilia, whom she was sharing sleeping quarters with. Y'shtola would have been there but apparently she stayed with Runar (and Yua's making a note to use that to embarrass the crap out of her when needed) and Thancred and Urianger took another area for themselves.
Once the party was rested up and quite possibly no longer hungover (looking at you Thancred), they made their way out of Rat'tika and back towards the Crystarium to give the Exarch the good news about the Lightwarden. Thankfully, no one knew about Yua's little time away with the ascian except for her ghostly companion and the conversation went as well as expected.
"So, how was your time with the ascian?" "You were watching?!" "Hey, I didn't have much of a choice!"
Yeah, it was awkward but not a deal breaker. Ardbert did warn her to be careful for her own sake but Yua kept reassuring him that it would be fine. After the group reached the gates of the crystal city, Yua was practically forced to go back to the Pendants to rest up while the rest would go on and give their report. It was not unwelcome and it would give time for her to try and think on everything so far.
Despite it being nighttime, Yua finds herself restless again like most nights. But at least the sunless sea is a welcome for her self. But it's quiet...like too quiet.]
